By connecting to or using a usefulapi MCP server or usefulapi.io (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
usefulapi provides hosted MCP servers that let your AI client access third-party services (e.g. Linear) on your behalf, using credentials you authorize. usefulapi is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with those third-party providers.
You must have a valid account with, and comply with the terms of, each third-party service you connect. Your use of that service through usefulapi remains subject to that provider's own terms and pricing. You are responsible for activity performed under your authorized credentials, including any
write actions (e.g. creating issues or comments) initiated through the Service.
If you are an EU consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. Where you request immediate access and the Service begins, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once performance has begun with your consent, to the extent permitted by law.
You will not: (a) use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights; (b) attempt to access other users' data or credentials; (c) probe, overload, or circumvent limits, metering, or security; (d) resell the Service without authorization; or (e) use it in violation of a connected provider's terms.
Portions of the Service may be offered on a beta / pre-release basis and may change or be discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We are not responsible for the acts, content, or availability of third-party services. (Mandatory consumer rights under Czech and EU law are unaffected.)
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Alexandr Maximov WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 50. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. for death, personal injury, or intentional/gross fault).
You will indemnify Alexandr Maximov against claims arising from your use of the Service, your content or actions, or your violation of these Terms or a third-party provider's terms.
You may stop using the Service and disconnect at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. 7–9, 12) survive termination.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Czech Republic, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer- protection rights of your country of residence are unaffected.
