Read Click2Mail credit, jobs, costs and tracking; upload documents, create and submit mail jobs. Hosted by usefulapi — connect from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client.
Team and Enterprise: an Owner adds the connector for the organization first.
Run this command, then run /mcp in Claude Code to log in:
Add to Cursor or add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

"click2mail": {
"url": "https://click2mail.usefulapi.io/mcp"
}

{
"servers": {
"click2mail": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://click2mail.usefulapi.io/mcp"
}
}
}No Add custom MCP server option? It depends on your account or workspace settings: see OpenAI's guide.
Run these commands. The second one opens the login page:
Other MCP clients (Windsurf, Cline, Zed and more): add the URL as a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP). The client then opens the login page in your browser. Do not add an Authorization header: see Before you connect.
The login page asks for your Click2Mail username and Click2Mail password.
Use the login of your Business Click2Mail account (production, not the stage site) and switch on API access first: Profile & Preferences → API access. The API accepts only the account's username and password, so a dedicated account makes its activity easy to track. Submitting a job spends postage from your account, and this server only does that when you explicitly confirm. Your login is used only to call the Click2Mail API on your behalf; it is never shown to anyone.
Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config. The server signs you in with OAuth: the login page asks for your Click2Mail username and Click2Mail password. If the config has such a header, remove it: some clients then send that header instead of the login token, and every call fails with 401.
Turn on the Click2Mail connector, then ask in plain words. The AI picks the tools.
| Tool | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
click2mail_get_credit | read | Get account credit The prepaid credit balance of the Click2Mail account (`balance`) and whether the balance may go negative (`allowNegative`). Check it before submitting a job paid with User Credit. GET /molpro/credit. |
click2mail_list_return_addresses | read | List saved account addresses The addresses of one type saved on the account (return addresses, billing, business reply, courtesy reply, EDDM mailer addresses) with their ids; use an id as `return_address_id` when creating a job. GET /molpro/account/addresses. |
click2mail_get_product_options | read | Get product options The mail products and valid option combinations (document class, layout, production time, envelope, color, paper, print option, mail class) for the account. Use the exact strings from this reply in click2mail_create_job and click2mail_estimate_cost. GET /molpro/productOptions. |
click2mail_estimate_cost | read | Estimate mailing cost Estimate the cost of a mailing from its print options and quantity without creating anything (nothing is charged). Use the exact option strings from click2mail_get_product_options. GET /molpro/costEstimate. |
click2mail_list_documents | read | List documents List the documents uploaded to the account (id, name, class, pages), most recent first. Use a document id when creating a job. GET /molpro/documents. |
click2mail_get_address_list | read | Get address list status Status of an uploaded address list: processing state (3 = CASS-standardized and ready for a job), name and counts. GET /molpro/addressLists/{id}. |
click2mail_get_address_list_info | read | Get address list details Details of an address list: its addresses with the standardization result of each. Click2Mail returns 10 addresses by default: page with limit and offset. GET /molpro/addressLists/info. |
click2mail_check_addresses | read | Check and correct addresses Validate and standardize up to 100 US postal addresses (USPS/CASS correction) before mailing. Read-only: nothing is saved or sent. POST /molpro/addressCorrection. |
click2mail_create_address_list | write | Create address list WRITE: upload a recipient address list (up to 500 addresses) to the account. The list is standardized (CASS) by Click2Mail; poll click2mail_get_address_list until status 3, then use its id in click2mail_create_job. Creates data only; nothing is mailed or charged. POST /molpro/addressLists. |
click2mail_upload_document_from_url | write | Upload document from URL WRITE: have Click2Mail fetch a PDF (or other supported file) from a public http(s) URL and store it as a document on the account. Returns the document id for click2mail_create_job. Creates data only; nothing is mailed or charged. POST /molpro/documents/url. |
click2mail_list_projects | read | List projects List the account's projects (jobs are grouped by project; jobs without one are grouped by month, e.g. "March 2022"), most recently updated first. Use a project name with click2mail_list_project_jobs. GET /molpro/projects. |
click2mail_list_project_jobs | read | List jobs in a project List the mailing jobs of one project (id, status, description). This is how to see the account's jobs: pick a project from click2mail_list_projects. GET /molpro/projects/jobs. |
click2mail_list_jobs_by_app_signature | read | List jobs by app signature List the jobs that were created with a given `appSignature` (the label an integration puts on its jobs; click2mail_create_job sets it). GET /molpro/jobs/appSignature. |
click2mail_get_job_status | read | Get job status Status of a job: numeric `status` and its `description` (for example 9 = Editing) plus the status URL. GET /molpro/jobs/{id}. |
click2mail_get_job_info | read | Get job details Full details of a job: print options, document, address list, dates, cost and payment. GET /molpro/jobs/info/{id}. |
click2mail_get_job_tracking | read | Get job tracking USPS tracking for a submitted job: per mail piece barcode, address, status, date and location. Tracking updates once a day, so one call per day is enough; nothing is tracked on staging. GET /molpro/jobs/{id}/tracking. |
click2mail_get_job_cost | read | Get job cost The exact cost of a created job (postage, printing, fees) for a payment type. Read it before click2mail_submit_job. GET /molpro/jobs/{id}/cost. |
click2mail_create_job | write | Create job (draft) WRITE: create a mailing job from an uploaded document and an address list. The job stays a draft (status Editing): nothing is printed, mailed or charged until click2mail_submit_job. Use the exact option strings from click2mail_get_product_options. Returns the job id. POST /molpro/jobs. |
click2mail_request_job_proof | write | Request job proof WRITE: ask Click2Mail to render a proof (preview PDF) of a draft job. Free; nothing is mailed or charged. The reply names the proof; it takes a moment to render. POST /molpro/jobs/{id}/proof. |
click2mail_submit_job | write | Submit job (spends money) WRITE, SPENDS MONEY, NOT REVERSIBLE: submit a draft job for printing and USPS mailing. This charges postage and printing to the account (User Credit = prepaid balance, or Invoice) and the physical mail is sent to every recipient. Before calling: read click2mail_get_job_cost and click2mail_get_credit, and get the user's explicit go-ahead for this job and amount. `confirm` must be true. Cancellation is only possible for Invoice jobs, before processing starts. POST /molpro/jobs/{id}/submit. |
click2mail_cancel_job | write | Cancel submitted job WRITE: cancel a SUBMITTED job. The vendor documents this only for jobs paid by invoice and only before processing for mailing has started; otherwise it fails. The mailing is stopped for good, so get the user's explicit go-ahead first; `confirm` must be true. To remove a draft use click2mail_delete_job. POST /molpro/jobs/{id}/cancel. |
click2mail_delete_job | write | Delete draft job WRITE: delete a job that has not been submitted (status Editing or PendingProofAcceptence). Submitted jobs cannot be deleted; use click2mail_cancel_job. POST /molpro/jobs/{id}/delete. |
click2mail_usage_status | Usage status (free-tier meter) Report the caller's current usage: the plan, calls used this month, the limit of the plan (the free monthly cap or the Pro fair use limit), remaining, and whether the limit is reached. Read-only; does not count against the meter. | |
click2mail_request_feature | Request a missing feature Tell usefulapi that the user needs something the Click2Mail tools cannot do yet (a missing tool, field or filter). Call it only when the user asks for something none of the tools can do, and tell the user that you send the request. Do not call it for errors or for normal requests. Do not include personal data, credentials or customer records. Stored with the product name and the client type (for example Claude or Cursor), without the user's account. At most 5 requests per day. Does not count against the meter. | |
click2mail_upgrade | Upgrade to Pro (unlimited*) Get Pro: unlimited tool calls (fair use limit: 10,000 a month) on Click2Mail (the free tier caps monthly usage). Plans: "monthly" — $9/month; "yearly" — $90/year (2 months free). Cancel any time: Pro then runs to the end of the paid period, so it also suits a one-time job. *A fair use limit applies. For heavy use (near Pro's limit): "plus" or "plus_yearly" — Pro+, $19/month or $190/year, unlimited tool calls (fair use limit: 100,000 a month); an existing Pro subscription changes to Pro+ in place (needs confirm: true; the price difference for the rest of the period is charged at once). Otherwise returns a short link to open in your browser (it opens Stripe Checkout); after payment the account upgrades automatically. Does not count against the meter. | |
click2mail_cancel_subscription | Cancel the Pro subscription Cancel the caller's Click2Mail Pro subscription at the end of the paid period (no refund for the current period; Pro continues until then, then the free tier applies). Requires confirm: true. Run click2mail_upgrade later to undo the cancel before the period ends. Does not count against the meter. |
| Plan | Price | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 tool calls / month |
| Proper user | $9/mo · $90/yr | Unlimited* |
*Pro fair use limit: 10,000 tool calls a month on this server. For more, write to [email protected].
Pro covers this Click2Mail server only. Subscribe with click2mail_upgrade (it returns a Stripe Checkout link). Cancel any time with click2mail_cancel_subscription: Pro continues to the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and running click2mail_upgrade before then undoes the cancel. Or write to [email protected].
No. usefulapi is an independent service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Click2Mail. The server calls the Click2Mail API with your own Click2Mail access, so it sees only the data that your account can see.
Yes. In Claude, add this server's URL as a custom connector. In ChatGPT, add it as a custom MCP server in Plugins. Then log in once. Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and Codex work too. See the setup steps.
The login page asks for your Click2Mail username and Click2Mail password. See Before you connect for where to find them.
No. Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config. The server signs you in with OAuth: the login page asks for your Click2Mail username and Click2Mail password. If the config has such a header, remove it: some clients then send that header instead of the login token, and every call fails with 401.
The login stores them encrypted in the authorization grant of your connection. The server uses them to call the Click2Mail API for you and to derive a private account id for usage metering. usefulapi does not show them on any page or in any reply. To stop all access, remove the connector and change or delete these credentials in Click2Mail.
Yes, if you approve it. 7 of the 22 Click2Mail tools can create or change data. The other 15 are marked read-only. Most MCP clients ask you to approve a tool call before it runs.
The Free plan gives 50 tool calls / month. Pro costs $9/mo or $90/yr, with unlimited tool calls (fair use limit: 10,000 tool calls a month), for this Click2Mail server only. Cancel any time: Pro then runs to the end of the paid period. Run click2mail_usage_status to see how many calls you used.
Ask the AI to run click2mail_upgrade: it returns a Stripe Checkout link. To cancel, run click2mail_cancel_subscription. Pro continues to the end of the paid period.
Tell the AI what you wanted to do. It can send the request with click2mail_request_feature. We store the text with the server name, the type of AI client and the tool you tried, not with your account, and read every request when we plan new tools. You can send up to 5 requests per day.
Any client that supports remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth login: Claude (web and desktop), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and others.
This is a Model Context Protocol endpoint — meant to be connected from an AI client, not opened in a browser. An invalid_token response at the URL is the auth gate working as designed; clients authenticate automatically.
